Mobile Hearing Evaluations

With our mobile services, we offer the same services that our patients receive in our offices, with equal quality. Using state-of-the-art equipment and practices, we perform comprehensive hearing evaluations that incorporate pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, live speech mapping and tympanometry. We’ll bring our equipment to your location and set up in a quiet part of your home or workplace. Our mobile sound-proof booth ensures the same accuracy of results that are achieved in a hearing care office.

In-Home Aural Rehabilitation Services

Those who have lived with untreated hearing loss for some time may require some assistance when it comes to adjusting to hearing aids, and retraining their brain to understand speech. We are proud to offer in-home aural rehabilitation counseling services to ensure that every one of our patients has the opportunity to hear as clearly as possible! Much of the program can be accomplished online without an in-home visit.

We accept most insurance plans. Contact us for more information.

Mobile Hearing Aid Fitting

Hearing aid fitting is often an ongoing process. It’s rare that an initial fitment is sufficient to see a new patient all the way through the adjustment period with their new hearing aids. We offer fitment adjustment as needed via mobile services, verified with live speech mapping. For hearing aids that are compatible, we also offer fitment adjustment via telehealth services. Proper fitment is crucial to successful hearing loss treatment with hearing aids, and we offer fitment services for hearing aids of all kinds, whether you purchased them from us or not.

Hearing Conservation Programs and Mobile Services

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires employers to provide annual hearing tests for workers at any workplace or job site that exposes employees to 85 dBA (decibels A-weighted) or greater during their shift. Our mobile services are a great way for employees to undergo an annual hearing exam without having to leave the worksite.
Protective Hearing Equipment

Custom Hearing Protection for Hearing Conservation Programs

Custom hearing protection is the most effective and comfortable hearing protection solution. While disposable earplugs may be cheap, the cost adds up quickly as employees need to use a new pair for every shift. Custom hearing protection provides superior sound quality, while lasting for years. Custom options also include in-ear monitors that block outside sound while allowing radio communication, or noise-canceling earmuffs. At Able Hearing, we can advise on the best solutions for your organization’s needs, provide custom hearing protection of all kinds, and fit employees on-site.

Able Hearing also offers record-keeping and reporting of hearing conservation records. We are familiar with the “ins and outs” of OSHA compliance, and we will work with you to establish and maintain a service plan that takes the pressure off your in-house teams.
